Desert In Bloom

I love the month of May. It’s my dad’s birthday month, I was married in May, and I became a mother in the month of May. Flowers are blooming and we’re all inspired to head out to our yards for BBQ’s and backyard parties.

The Ashurst bees love May too. They’re buzzing around the Imperial and Coachella Valleys, Temecula, and North County San Diego as they continue to pollinate melons, onion seed, avocado, citrus, and wild desert flowers.

When the desert is blooming it makes a lot of pollen for the bees and it’s where we get our Desert Flower Honey. We put our bees in the desert close to citrus groves so they get both blooms. Along with very happy bees, this makes a unique honey only found in our area of the country.

To celebrate all things May and the wild desert flowers, our monthly honey special for May is Desert Flower Honey. For the entire month of May get 10% off Desert Flower Honey when you use the code DESERTBLOOM. This code will work online and in the Westmorland shop. The discount does not apply to our local vendor shops.

Here’s what we have coming up for May:

Cheers to all the May celebrations!

Keep Buzz’n!
